Carwinion House
Nature lovers from around the world visit Carwinion to admire its renowned collection of bamboo and to relax among the beautiful and rare plants in these 12 unmanicured acres of tranquil garden.
Some stay as bed-and-breakfast guests in the manor house where they are looked after by the lady of the manor herself Jane Rogers. Some stay as self-catering guests in one of Carwinion's attractive period cottages.
Carwinion House is a beautiful 18th Century stone manor house tucked away in its own private estate in the lush North Helford area of Cornwall, only a stone's throw from Falmouth.
Today Jane and Anthony Rogers live at Carwinion and their beautiful gardens are open to the public. Jane's cream teas, served on Carwinion's garden terrace, are thought by some to be the best in Cornwall and have to be sampled to be believed. Carwinion is dog friendly and welcomes visitors throughout the year.
“Join us at one of Cornwall’s most magical locations, Carwinion, to view the summer exhibition of paintings by John Dyer and Joanne Short, explore the sensory gardens and have a cup of tea and a slice of cake.”
