Those of you who have followed us for many years will know that artist John Dyer is also widely published and acclaimed as a fine art photographer. His first exhibition in Cornwall and London in 1990 was of his environmental fine art photography completed in the Amazon Rainforest. This work led, and informed his later environmental paintings. We are delighted to be able to bring these historic images into print with our new online gallery. Some of the areas that John worked in have now been cleared of forest but these stunning images serve to remind us of the fragility and importance of the rainforests worldwide.

Artist John Dyer, the resident artist for Darwin 200 visits Newquay Zoo in Cornwall as part of his residency.
One of the most memorable animal/artist encounters was captured on video by the artist's daughter Martha-Lilly.
This HD short film captures the artist at work and the interactions between father,daughter and lemur !

John’s first daughter, Martha-Lilly Dyer was born on the day of the eclipse on 11th August 1999 and this radio broadcast was on Martha-Lilly’s tenth birthday.
